Sales Manager - Middle Markets

The Sales Manager - Middle Markets will be responsible for leading the sales and conversion strategy for Vovici's middle market customers. We define the middle market as non-Enterprise businesses, primarily with companies under $1B US in sales. As the sales leader for this market, the right candidate will use their sales and product expertise to work with the marketing and product teams to design programs and solution packages that solve the feedback challenges faced in this segment, optimizing new business sales to these customers.

The middle market team at Vovici is fueled by both inbound leads and outbound calling efforts, primarily handled over the phone. Vovici is a high-growth company and this role is a key to growing as our business evolves - so an entrepreneurial spirit and approach is welcomed and required.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Propose and execute programs and campaigns with aid from marketing to achieve maximum sales volume
  • Execute on the middle market strategy and own and design the tactics to regularly exceed sales goals
  • Provide regular coaching and sales training to the team, including collaborative sales calls and account planning sessions
  • Closely track productivity and pipeline metrics to ensure consistent performance
  • Maintain a strong discipline that rewards success and fosters team development
  • Work closely with the Sales and IT Operations to coordinate telephony and technology center needs
  • Oversee all aspects of sales budget including operations, incentive, telephony etc.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to identify and implement process improvements

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, including inside sales experience
  • Software sales experience with a subscription-based or SaaS model
  • Experience with a subscription-based or SaaS model preferred, but software sales experience a must
  • Proven achievement of sales goals required
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
