Software Engineer

We are currently looking for .Net developers to be part of our Dulles Virginia team. The person in this role will have the opportunity to design and code their own objects, white-box test their code as appropriate, and manage the successful conclusion of key milestones, including alpha and beta testing and QA Certification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of leading Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) solutions
- Create designs and specifications
- Develop high performing fault tolerant solutions
- Frequent communication with team and tech lead regarding the status and expected quality of tasks and projects, including potential impacts on delivery dates
- Create essential technical documentation by actively working with Product Management and Quality Assurance teams
- Assist Customer Service and Operations by providing technical guidance and application expertise to resolve production issues
- Follow and enhance established development processes for assigned projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience building applications/systems or web development experience using an object oriented language
- Proven experience with and knowledge of Microsoft technology, including C#, .NET, IIS, SQL Server
- (C++ or other non-managed code knowledge a plus)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML proficiency
- Basic understanding of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid UI design knowledge and skills
- Strong attention to detail; excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge or experience with various software development life cycle and release management practices, experience with common Agile methodologies a plus
- Good time management skills; strong ability to self-manage
- Sense of teamwork and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Education and/or Experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Language Skills
- Technical Languages: C#, ASP.NET, Delphi, XML, HTML, JavaScript
- Spoken Languages: English
