Vovici Consulting Services has a need for an experienced technical consultant/developer to work with existing and new clients on consulting engagements. This is a full-time position reporting to the Operations Director for Client Services.
Job Description: Consulting and development of Web Services components for services delivery.
Required Skills:
Experience and knowledge of the following technologies:
- Visual Studio .NET 2005 (C#) – 3+ years
- ASP.NET 2.0 web applications and web services
- Windows desktop and console applications
- SQL Server 2005 – 2+ years
- Strong HTML and JavaScript knowledge
- Experience with XML and XSLT
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills
Additional Skills Required:
- Windows Server 2003 administration or advanced Windows OS knowledge (networking, security, etc.)
- Experience with VMWare Enterprise
- Variety of other programming language skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills a plus
- Prior Support experience
- Experience with version control software
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science preferred.
- 3-5 years experience as a technical consultant or developer.
- Customer-facing experience is a prerequisite.
