Web 2.0 Technical Consultant
Vovici is looking for a Web Developer with experience creating, implementing and integrating web 2.0 technologies with existing websites and applications. Familiarity with cutting edge web development techniques related to social networking, online communities, multimedia, dynamic content and building user friendly GUIs is expected. Ideal candidates should be comfortable interacting with clients throughout the full delivery process from initial requirement specification to final delivery.
Required Skills:
- Strong HTML and JavaScript knowledge
- Experience with XML and XSLT
- Flash
- AJAX
- General Web 2.0 technical experience-e.g. building interactive websites, branding, social media, and multimedia
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Additional Skills Required:
- Some knowledge of DNN
- Windows Server 2003 administration or advanced Windows OS knowledge (networking, security, etc.)
- Experience with version control software
- Prior Support experience
- Strong multi-tasking skills a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Experience with survey tools preferred
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science preferred
- 3-5 years experience as a technical consultant or developer
- Customer-facing experience is a prerequisite.
