WebSurveyor Featured in Business Research Textbooks
Leading online survey tool helps students understand market research
HERNDON, VA. (Mar. 8, 2005) - WebSurveyor Corporation, the leading provider of online surveys, announced today that it is featured in two business research textbooks slated to be released this spring by McGraw-Hill/Irwin, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.
The collegiate-level textbooks, Marketing Research, 1st edition and Business Research Methods, 8th edition, are written by Donald R. Cooper and Pamela S. Schindler. Business Research Methods provides an overview of research and data analysis by outlining the research process from research study design to data analysis. Marketing Research introduces research-supported marketing decision-making, along with practical examples and researcher insights.
"We're excited to feature WebSurveyor's award-winning online survey technology in both of our research textbooks," said Schindler. "As a professor and an author, I want students to learn real-world survey research techniques that will enable them to make informed business decisions."
WebSurveyor will continue to work with leading textbook publishers to incorporate WebSurveyor's online survey tools. In addition, WebSurveyor offers an Academic Grant that enables eligible academic institutions to use WebSurveyor's award-winning online survey technology for collegiate level instruction of the practical use of online surveys. Nearly 80 universities have received a grant so far. Instructors are encouraged to apply by visiting www.websurveyor.com/grant.
"By learning how to use WebSurveyor's online survey tool in the classroom now, students will be better prepared to understand and solve business challenges in the future," said WebSurveyor CMO Tom Lueker. "The WebSurveyor online survey tool empowers the most advanced survey researcher with powerful features, yet is still easy to use for the novice user."
