South London Business Increases Constituent Feedback With Vovici
London Lobbyist Group Receives Real-Time Data with Leading EFM Solution
26 February, 2008 - Vovici (voh-VEE-see), the leading provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM), today announced that its online survey services and software are being utilised by South London Business, a group promoting the economic development of South London. Vovici's software has been implemented to help South London Business more accurately obtain, manage and collect constituent feedback.
South London Business lobbies all levels of government to give local businesses a voice in political developments. The feedback management solution provided by Vovici enables South London Business to survey its constituents on key issues such as: transport and infrastructure improvements, economic regeneration, skills and workforce development, and safeguarding strategic sites for commercial development. For example, in order to respond to the Department of Transport's consultation document relating to the expansion of Heathrow Airport, South London Business is currently requesting input from businesses in the area about how the expansion will impact them.
"Soliciting feedback from our constituents is a key business goal to ensuring we have actionable information about the area," said Ross Feeney, director of communication and business representation at South London Business. "We cannot work in a vacuum, and with busy schedules often making it tricky to speak to key decision makers, gaining attention and valuable feedback from businesses is priceless. This system will make that process easier to manage, it will be automated, and hence it will be far easier to track results."
Prior to Vovici, South London Business collected constituent feedback through a combination of paper surveys or outsourced web surveys, but it was time-consuming to collect the data they relied upon to lobby on behalf of their constituents.
"We are happy to help South London Business better reach its constituents, and enable the business community to have a more immediate impact on their surroundings by feeding their thoughts and opinions through," said Ben Smith, director of EMEA, Vovici. "With customer service climbing the agenda in both the private and public sectors, UK-based organisations will see the immediate value of such feedback solutions to meet their business and economic development goals."
