Leading Enterprise Feedback Provider Unveils New Mobile Survey Software to Gather Offline Responses
Dulles, VA – August 20, 2008 –Vovici, the leading provider of software-as-a-service solutions for Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) and online community software, today announces the availability of Vovici Mobile Survey – PC Edition. This new module works in conjunction with EFM Community, Vovici’s award-winning enterprise feedback management platform, and allows organizations to easily and economically collect survey data offline on any PC and then upload the data to a centralized response database.
Although many surveys are conducted via the Web, customers often require an offline (no Internet connection) method of gathering data without reverting to paper or the telephone. To satisfy this need, Vovici has introduced Mobile Survey – PC Edition, which allows users to gather data via Windows Vista or XP-based PCs and upload the captured responses to a server-hosted response database once an online connection has been reestablished.
Customers can effectively leverage this offline response capability in a variety of situations. For example, sales teams can now gather feedback in person as they meet with clients, military personnel in the field can conduct assessments in areas where wireless Internet connections are not possible, and companies can use Mobile Survey – PC Edition in kiosk-type formats where respondents may take a survey at their leisure (in malls, at tradeshows, etc).
Vovici Mobile Survey – PC Edition is built on Vovici’s flagship EFM Community platform and works with both enterprise and professional versions. All responses gathered from Mobile Survey – PC Edition are co-located with survey responses received from other modes (Web surveys, Mobile Survey – PDA Edition) in order to ensure that all feedback is integrated and available for reporting.
